  1. well said dear jane; although as a rule i find her novels quite hard going (sacrilegious i know).

    it's only with great effort that i managed, after numerous attempts, to finish Pride and Prejudice & Emma...:(

    is it?! now i really do have to re-read it again. where was the mystery? i honestly don't recall anyone being bumped off in the book...:(

  4. Anon: Do try it again! You'll like it... the mystery is regarding jane fairfax, emma's foil. oh well she has 2 foils in the novel - the other is harriet smith. maybe you can imagine which actresses or models can play the characters. that could be fun. for me jane fairfax can be played by racquel zimmerman! i always imagine her blonde although in films she is always portrayed as dark.
