  3. you're welcome dear. it's so important to get all the 'h' sounds right when you're doing a Faye. locals either get it wrong (putting 'h' where it doesn't belong, or missing it when needed). or they do it half half-heartedly like the way singaporean actors/actresses speak on TV. it just doesn't sound right lor...

  5. singing mandarin karaoke songs & speaking mandarin in general, e.g. 'wo men zhichi ni!' (we support you!) often comes out, in local parlance, as 'wo men zici ni!'

    the significant tongue-rolling 'h' sound is, unfortunately, missing...:(
