THEN THERE WERE YOU

Hi Daniel,

I wrote this poem and I'm really proud of it. I hope you enjoy it.

Then there were you

Clouds crust over the sky
Sparks of thunderous flashes
Warn of approaching storm
I lay here exposed
My heart shackled
Free me of this torment
Wash it away with the rain

Crowds bombard all around
Sparks of treacherous flashes
Warn of deceitful madness
I stand here exposed
My eyes blinded
Free me of this torture
Bring in the rays of the sun

Alas I feel
Alas I see
You are the sprinkle of hope that magic exists
You are the glimpse of truth that love prevails
