Is it time to think about Christmas cards already? Well, at least you ought to be starting to think about making a list (and checking it twice). The Christmas decorations are up already, all along Orchard Road (who is in charge of these things?) just as they are taking down the Deepavali decorations all along where I live. I must say the Christmas decorations get ever more hideous, if increasingly desperate and hectic. I think the theme seems to be weeping trees this year; If you don't believe me, just stroll down Orchard after dark. Can't Christmas be tasteful like these cards?
