I read (is it possible to read while rolling one's eyes?) this
famous fashion editor's earky summation of Milan Men's presentations this season as a 'going back to their roots' blah blah blah: I'm stunned that this sort of writing (and thinking) can pass at a reputable international paper. How can the purported 'return to heritage' be used as a news point when this trend has been on-going for at least TWO DECADES? I think each label carefully refines and edits their "heritage" each season and to say
this season they are going back to their roots etc is just plain sloppy. It's like saying nothing at all. It's not writing, it's
typing.
She must be very bored indeed.
Jil Sander Disappointing and incomplete. Half of it looks like it should be viewed with 3D glasses, half of it looks like salaryman suiting from Takashimaya. Of course there are gorgeous pieces but this isn't what we have come to expect from Raf Simons.
Alexander McQueen (right) Weirdly compelling. Heart. Dolce & Gabbana I didn't think I would like this collection but this is simply one of their best work, coherent, beautiful and believable. Etro Elegant/ Romantic. DSquared Inexplicable.
not writing but typing! hilarious! you so amuse me!
