Mail from Bhutan

"It's gorgeous here in Bhutan. No access to handphone and wireless. The simplicity of life really appeals to me and I'm sure you will enjoy it... Of course Black Girl cannot be here, she is too loud for this place. Did trekking, which was meditative. It helps to be staying at Uma. They really pamper the guests. The walls are quite thick, so at night, only the sounds of dogs barking and the sound of water from the nearby river. Some difficulty in breathing because it's 2,300M up. Some one gave me a basket of pears from their own garden."
Yes, there's a perfect fragrance for this: L'Artisan Perfumeur's 2006 Dzongkha, by Bertrand Duchaufour. You can smell the cedar forest, the cold temple stone, incense.
