Extreme Beauty

I like the title of this exhibition: Extreme Beauty in Vogue, which opens Mar 2 in Milan at the Palazzon della Ragione. The 89 photographs in this exhibition launches Dolce & Gabanna's new makeup line. Any old excuse will do to trot out the Vogue archive, I suppose. Along with all the usual iconic shots is this one by Steichen, which I'm highlighting because it's the least over-exposed. Plus I like the hands.
