Absolutely crazy for these Prada monster-mashup 'brogues'. They remind me of those Macaulay CulkinParty Monster shoes. Mr Culkin, is of course the erstwhile friend of the late Michael Jackson.
Dear Beauty: But Prada often makes things that are ugly/beautiful... they are sort of sick aren't they, which I suppose is the point? Dear Anon: They were shown at the womens ready-to-wear but I'm thinking it's sort of non gender specific whackiness.
Dear Anon: Here's the post modernist shoe for you - brogue meets espardrille meets trainer meets platform (you can read it in the layers) and completely the opposite of good taste! It's the very essence of the Prada aesthetic.
